Air Zero seeks highly motivated and experienced Service Technicians that are nerdy about the HVAC Industry. If you like to quote movies and you have a desire to solve problems, we might be the right fit for you. Must be willing to learn and take care of people. We know when to dig in and work hard but have fun. We are a high performing team looking to develop and grow more talent.

As a Service Technician, you’ll be working with customers and our in-office team every day to provide solutions to our customers comfort problems. You will be introduced to techniques to better yourself and the team through weekly inhouse and external training platforms. We deliver exceptional results to our customers.​

  • Position Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high performing team of HVAC technicians, instilling a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Establish clear performance goals and achieve them.
  • Perform service, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, systems in residential, light commercial settings.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment, including identifying malfunctioning components, identifying refrigerant leaks, and low voltage electrical problems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Replace or repair defective parts, components, or wiring in HVAC systems, following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Test HVAC systems to verify proper operation and performance, adjusting settings or configurations as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations (EPA 608) while working with HVAC equipment, including handling refrigerants and electrical systems.
  • Document service and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions, using computerized systems or written records.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain findings, recommend repairs or replacements, and provide estimates for services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Foster collaboration with other team members, including HVAC installers, sales representatives, and administrative staff, to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
