Troy Daland is a retired United States Air Force Special Operations professional, business leader, and nonprofit advocate whose career is defined by discipline, leadership, and a commitment to building high-performance teams.
Troy served more than two decades in the United States Air Force, completing multiple tours within the Special Operations community. As a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) specialist and leader in personnel recovery operations, he played a critical role in training and supporting U.S. and allied forces in high-risk environments. He was entrusted with establishing and developing Personnel Recovery Cells, including work with the 38th Rescue Squadron and the Mobility Support Advisory Squadron at Travis Air Force Base. He also built international partnerships across Central and South America and, in his final assignment, led the establishment of a Personnel Recovery Cell supporting Special Operations in the U.S. Central Command area of operations.
Following his military retirement, Troy transitioned into business leadership, bringing a mission-focused approach to the private sector. He has served in consulting and fractional C-suite leadership roles, helping organizations improve structure, operations, and performance. He has applied this experience within the HVAC industry, where he owns and operates Air Zero Air Conditioning, serving the Tampa Bay community with a focus on operational excellence and customer experience.
His leadership has been recognized in Service Titan Magazine and Tampa Bay Business & Wealth. Troy serves on the Board of Directors for RACCA Florida and is President of the Special Operations Memorial Foundation. He is also a speaker on veteran transition and leadership, and has been featured on numerous podcasts.
